งานประกาศรางวัล 49th Baeksang Arts Awards จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤษภาคม 2556 ที่ผ่านมา และในปีนี้ผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลแดซัง (Daesang awards) ได้แก่ ยู แจซอก (Yoo Jae Suk) และ รยอ ซึงรยอง (Ryu Seung Ryong)

สำหรับงานประกาศรางวัลนี้จะถูกจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดย IS PLUS Corp เป็นผู้ที่รับผิดชอบหน้าที่ในการจัดงานประกาศรางวัล โดยรางวัลดังกล่าวจะมอบรางวัลให้กับผู้ที่ประสบความสำเร็จอันโดดเด่นในอุตสาหกรรมบันเทิงของประเทศเกาหลีใต้ โดยภาพยนตร์ละคร พิธีกร และนักแสดงที่จะได้รับรางวัลจะต้องสามารถดึงดูดความสนใจและเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของประชาชนและผู้ชมในวงกว้าง
